'Chinta' (Love)


MonoloQue was born in 2004. The man himself, better known as loQue, was the founder of the well-known Malaysian grunge/alternative/independent band, Butterfingers. He is also the main composer/lyricist for the band.

As the band gets it success, loQue known for his love to challenge himself and to explore new things in life, comes up with monoloQue in 2004 when the band he founded took a hiatus from the music scene - discovering his broader his profound love for sounds in general, sounds that would break the comfort zone that he had with his band, Butterfingers.

July 15, 2021 marked a historical moment when legendary local musician MonoloQue graces the Web3 space with an NFT collaboration drop with No-to-scale on the marketplace Foundation. The piece called 'Urusan Seri Paduka Baginda' with monoloQue coming in with the Audio + Animation and No-to-scale providing the original artwork.

Their second NFT dropped a month later on the same marketplace, with a similar collaboration set up, this time with 'Chinta versi Biola'. These collaborations were intended to be a form of experimentation - an attempt to expand the reach of their work to a broader audience.

'Urusan Seri Paduka Baginda' sold 0.4235 ETH, while 'Chinta versi Biola' auctioned off at 0.36 ETH.
